It’s Friday, and guess who’s back in the house, heels click-clackin about! It’s another edition of my Lipsync reviews! If you aren’t aware of the spoiler alert in effect, then I don’t know what to tell you, girl. This weeks episode, the main challenge was an improve talk show with my all time fave, Ross Matthews. The runway was denim and diamonds, so we are appropriately rating everything with diamonds!
Song Choice: 5/5
Man, I Feel Like A Woman by Shania Twain
Do I even need to explain why this is 5 out of 5?????
Decision of The Bottom Two: 4/5
I think Monet deserved to be there, but I think that The Vixen had a worse performance in the main challenge than Mayhem did. The Vixen’s main stage look didn’t outway her performance for me. I think Asia could have been in the bottom as well.
Monet X Change Performance: 3/5
To be completely honest, I didn’t like either queen’s performance. Monet was funny, but I didn’t get what she was doing? Why was she driving a car? Where did the hairspray come from? Why was she getting naked? I was just confused the entire time honestly. Clearly, the judges thought it was funny, and she wasn’t worse than Mayhem, so I’m content with the fact that she stayed.
Mayhem Miller’s Performance: 2/5
It was just so lackluster. Again, I didn’t love this lipsync a whole lot, it was really just a let down considering the song, but Mayhem was just so blah… She was just prancing around the stage and didn’t kick it up a notch until the very end. If she had come with that energy, in the beginning, she 100% would have stayed.
Judges Reactions: 3/5
There weren’t many pans to the judges, just to Shania Twain and Ru, but the laughter and screaming in the background was everything. I LOVE when Carson and Ross are judges because them paired with Michelle always results in lots of ear-splitting screams, and I LOVE it.
Mayhem Miller’s Exit: 3/5
“You are all beautiful, don’t let nobody ever tell you different.”
It wasn’t the typical last words, but it was inspirational and adorable. I’ll miss Mayhem!!!
