If you don’t know who Colin Kaepernick is, please leave the rock that you’ve been living under and listen the fuck up.

Colin “Kap” Kaepernick is an NFL quarterback who hasn’t been playing in the NFL due to his protests back in the day where he was kneeling for the anthem to protest violence against black men in America. A bunch of white people got all up in arms about it and now he’s not playing anymore.

You may have seen him in this viral Nike campaign that also got the Whites all up in arms because “he’s a rich athlete what does he have to lose!!!” There’s your background. Thank youuu.

At the end of the 2018 season, it was announced that Kap was going to be coming back to the NFL! WAHOO! His lawyer has been making some moves trying to get him onto some good teams and in a Jamn 94.5 article – the epitome of sports news guys – it came out that he was looking at the Patriots, and that “it would not surprise me if [Patriots owner] Bob Kraft makes a move.”

YEAH OKAY.

If Kap is smart at ALL he would not sign with the Patriots unless it’s his last resort. He would never play. Tom Brady is going to live for fucking ever, and being his back up when you’ve had experience as a starter just isn’t going to get your juices going. It’s not even like he can really learn anything from Brady because Brady can’t and doesn’t coach. He hates coaching quarterbacks because he’s on that level where he’s so good and so smart that he doesn’t understand that other people can’t just think the way he does. Everything you can learn about Brady would be simply from watching him, which you can do without playing with him because he’s so vocal about not eating tomatoes.

The Patriot’s are notoriously bad at working with veteran players. The BB system is so different from other coaches, and he takes absolutely ZERO shit, and players that weren’t born and bred under the system just don’t do well. We’ve seen it time and time again, BB is best at taking the good but not great and turning them into the greatest (see; Julian Edelman, Tom Brady…)

Kap coming to New England does NOTHING for us and nothing for him. This has absolutely nothing to do with his affinity for kneeling and everything to do with the coaching style and current roster.

Mark my words but Colin Kaepernick will not be playing for New England.
