I’m not being the least bit dramatic here. This is the BEST fucking bagel, and it’s my favorite breakfast, and honestly my favorite lunch and dinner at this point.
I mean look at those BEAUTIES!! *Chefs kiss* I’m not about to be one of those blogs that explains the incredibly boring backstory behind a recipe and then forcing you to scroll through all of that before getting to the recipe… Nope, not today:
- Bagel (I used an everything bagel)
- diced tomatoes
- cream cheese
- feta cheese
- onion powder
Toast that GD bagel and spread some cream cheese on it. Sometimes I use hummus, sometimes I use cream cheese, whatever your heart desires. Cut up some of your cucumber into slices, I cut them at an angle so they’re bigger. Sprinkle some salt, pepper, and onion powder on each side. Throw in whatever god damn spices you please, but I like to let the stench of onion powder overpower everything in my life. I put three cucumber slices on each bagel half because that’s what fits. Then you spoon some diced tomatoes on there, I usually use the garlic ones or the spicy salsa ones, cuz flavor. Throw a dash more salt, pepper, and onion powder, and top it off with feta cheese. BOOM. Per. Fec. TION. Thank me later ladies and gents.

Anywhos, this is the most delicious bagel. Inspired by the Mediterranean bagel at Pressed Cafe in Burlington. Pre Quarantine I would go to Pressed to get some work done and eat myself a bagel and get a coffee. God, I fucking miss it so much…
