Did this have to be done? No. Am I doing it anyway? Of course. This might be one of the dumbest blogs I’ve ever written, but I can assure you it is absolutely not the dumbest. Just one of them. There’s a very niche audience for this blog, but fuck it. It’s my blog and I’ll do what I want.
- A song you like with a color in the title: Little Black Dress
- A song you like with a number in the title: Infinity – It’s a number. And I want to use 18 somewhere else, sue me.
- A song that reminds you of summertime: Best Song Ever
- A song that reminds you of someone you’d rather forget: Moments
- A song that needs to be played loud: Tell Me A Lie – This is one of the greatest One Direction songs of all time and it is criminally underrated.
- A song that makes you want to dance: Drag Me Down
- A song to drive to: Why Don’t We Go There
- A song about drugs or alcohol: Midnight Memories
- A song that makes you happy: Kiss You
- A song that makes you sad: More Than This
- A song you never get tired of: She’s Not Afraid
- A song from your preteen years: What Makes You Beautiful
- A song you like from the 70s: You Are So Beautiful by Joe Cocker – Another Xfactor performance. I honestly thought it would be hard to find some of these and make them One Direction related songs, but I’m fucking nailing it.
- A song you’d love to be played at your wedding: Perfect
- A song you like that’s a cover by another artist: One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)
- A song that’s a classic favorite: Little Things
- A song you’d sing a duet with someone on karaoke: They Don’t Know About Us
- A song from the year you were born: Torn by Natalie Imbruglia — I’m getting conflicting reports on when this song was released, some sites say 1995, some say 1997. The middle ground of that is 1996, the year I was born. If you’re not a One Direction stan you don’t know the importance of this song. Its the song that started it all.
- A song that makes you think about life: Clouds
- A song that has many meanings to you: Ready To Run
- A song you like with a person’s name in the title: Diana
- A song that moves you forward: Back For You
- A song that you think everybody should listen to: Girl Almighty
- A song by a band you wish were still together: Everything About You – I mean come on, this could just be any song from them, but Everything About You is a BOP and one of my all time favorites.
- A song you like by an artist no longer living: All You Need Is Love by The Beatles – Okay technically some of the Beatles are alive, but some are also dead. And One Direction sang this on the X Factor so it counts.
- A song that makes you want to fall in love: 18
- A song that breaks your heart: Don’t Forget Where you Belong
- A song by an artist whose voice you love: Stockholm Syndrome
- A song you remember from your childhood: Up All Night
- A song that reminds you of yourself: Act My Age
Was this a stupid blog? Probably. But did it mean I could make up a kind of legit excuse to listen to One Direction? Hell fucking yeah. Any excuse to listen to them I will take it and I will absolutely run with it. Thanks for tuning in folks.
